Chris had no problem with the slightly longer handshake. He was a tactile person, after all. The unexpected emergence of a vine, however, was a bit of a shock. He held very still, watching it as it wrapped around his arm, as it entwined with the cart and flowers bloomed.
When she let his hand go, it was like losing a support. He grabbed hold of his cart instead of falling over.
Need to work on that tension, Chris...
He stared at where the glitter had disappeared and said faintly, "Well, aren't you... full of surprises?"
