In actuality, Ian did see a bunch of people, usually humans, throw a coin or two into the fountain for... some obscure reason. He usually caught sight of it while DJing and couldn't help make a face, because... oh dear god, no, why would someone do that? Just... no... please.... stop, you're making an embarrassment out of yourself. Even the vampires are joking about you having a retard-bloodline as opposed to the others. Either way, Ian just shrugged at her words, not entirely bothered by it. People all had different opinions on Heme, but he loved flaunting online that he worked there, because everyone said it was just 'soooo cooool!!!!1' and then there were a few lamers who had to take a dump in his hat and call him a fangbanger and so forth. Typical online trolls...
Once Alanna agreed to check out the music, Ian flashed a small smile before leading her on over to the closed room, staring down Callalily who was also eager to come in. "Kitties don't belong in here," he informed the cat, who just meowed and rolled onto her back. Chuckling to himself, he gave the kitty some tummy lovins then proceeded to open the door for himself and Alanna to slip into. Once inside, he closed the door promptly to make sure the silly cat wouldn't get inside. "Well... here we are." The computer room was quite elaborate compared to the rest of his apartment, filled with all sorts of electronics, all of them up-to-date, of course. Two walls were dedicated to nothing but his Mac and PC, both having various monitors up and running. One of them was flashing with a bunch of IMs that were sent to him during his time AFK, but he wasn't worried about them now. All around the room were various speakers, giving him perhaps one of the best sound experiences he could have. And to top it off, there was an entire wall dedicated to his DJ equipment, because why not?
"Have a seat," he patted to one of the squishy desk chairs that looked like something a James Bond villian would sit in. Had to have the best for sitting for long periods of time, right? Taking a seat himself, he rolled on over to his Mac and began to pull up a few files he had been working on. "Oh, here's one I did recently. Not industrial, but it's nice." And Ian proceeded to play the song that he collabed with Ari on while he searched for some of the other music files, letting the entire room be embraced by the lovely music.
