She didn't know what industrial rock was? Wow, how did people not know that stuff? Ian loved rocking out to that in underground clubs back in Glasglow and it was a shame that not too many people were into it. Thankfully that was all Heme played, so he approved of his part-time job, even if it was a vampire bar. Nodding to Alanna, he propped the relatively bare fridge to pull out a small container of cream. After handing it off to her, he proceeded to pour the two of them their cups of coffee.
"Industrial is sort of like... um... basic heavy metal with white noise blasts and a flair of electronic aspects. You got bands like KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Godflesh, Killing Joke, and a bunch of others." Once the coffee was poured, he placed the pot aside and pushed Alanna's closer to her and then carefully prepared his with cream and sugar. "I play at uh... Heme. The vampire bar." Might as well get that tidbit out of the way or else Alanna would freak out some more. "Just part-time. They're big on the industrial rock thing so.... yeah." He then picked up his cup of coffee and carefully sipped at it. Mmmm, perfect. Nothing beat a good cup of coffee. Also gave him a moment to relax from all the talking. He only really got going when it involved music or electronics. Ian could never be quiet on a topic like that.
