Running out of clock Who: Alanna and Ian Where: The Court When: Afternoon
So maybe cupcakes were not quite as good on the second day as they were the first. Or on the fifth for that matter... or however long it had been since Alanna bought them. She thought that it had been less than a week since she did. Cupcakes were still edible so long as they stayed in that plastic shell they came in, right? Maybe she should actually ask someone about that... but no. She had come across them when she was rifling through her backpack in search of the key to the padlock on her cage and had decided that it would be better to give them to him now or she would just forget again. Then she would be stuck with them for who knew how long and they would go to complete waste because she had already given Aaron six and twelve in less than a week was way too many for any one person. Who ate more than one of the sugary things in a day anyhow? Besides, Ian looked like he could do with some extra food.
If he was even home. Picking up the plastic container in one hand – the cupcakes still looked perfectly good – Alanna picked through the clutter that was her search and made it to the door. Now if only she could remember the door that Ian had actually gone through the other day. No, definitely not that one, that one belonged to that remarkably annoying girl who did not like her. Maybe the next one... hmm... what was the worst that could happen? Other than getting her head bitten off which would, with the full moon being that night, actually be pretty bad. Oh well, she was not taking the cupcakes back to her apartment now or they would not get eaten at all and that was a waste. Shrugging, she raised her hand and knocked on the door.
Hopefully it was the right one. If it was not then she might just give the cupcakes to whoever was on the other side and call it a day. Because she was starting to get really antsy and the only other person she really wanted to see was Jamie.
