So much for thinking that she could slip by the whole being evicted thing. Kai sunk back into her seat a bit, munching away at her food while trying to collect her thoughts for a change of pace. Yeah, it did suck. No lies about that. Though the whole screaming at no one there part? Not so much. Kai rolled her eyes when Dagmar brought that up. "God, I don't do that all the time!" Except, you know, she did. If not on a daily basis, then frequently, because she was a crazy person and crazy people had to live up to that, right? Right. After sighing a bit, Kai smacked a hand against her face and began to explain the whole ordeal.
"No, I... I was behind on my bills and I've been really tight on money and my landlord was a bitch and had enough with me, so... kicked my ass on out. Now I'm kind of living in my truck for the time being, which is fine. I mean, the front seat is pretty damn comfy for a PoS-mobile, but uh..." Kai looked on over to Dagmar with a nervous smile laced with some innocent eye batting. "Would it be ok if I crashed at your place? Totally promise not to yell at anyone, regardless if they're there or not. I won't be a burden. Promise! i'll totally leave come morning and then you won't have to worry about it! Deal? Maybe?" Maybe Kai could raid the fridge come morning, too. No one would notice if a couple pieces of breads and jam were missing along with some juice, right? Besides, Dagmar's family was filthy rich, so they could always buy more.
