Hey there, Little Darlin Who: Chloe and Lux Where: Camelot Place When: afternoon and then the whole night away Warning: NSFW
Chloe wasn't due at the museum until about 7:30pm, so after lunch she'd taken a dangerously aimless walk around town and then she decided to go home. It had been hard to find her way back to her car, but she'd finally managed, all the while thinking maybe she should really start bringing Leeloo with her on these walks. Leeloo seemed to be much better at situating herself than Chloe was.
When she got home Chloe sat around for a while, and then decided to take Leeloo out for a walk outside the apartment building. Leeloo appreciated these walks as much as Chloe did, but this time she felt like going upstairs and take a nap. After taking her up, Chloe came back down to sit on the entrance steps and, while sheltered from the rain, she enjoyed feeling the breeze. She was doing so with closed eyes and her face resting on her hands. It felt really, really good.
Lux had spent some time chatting with Torque, but he couldn't exactly keep the guy forever, so eventually, he'd headed back for his apartment and that whole unpacking bullshit that awaited him. Picking up a burger on the way back was his only stop and despite the shitty weather, the rain wasn't really bothering his mood. Parking his car, he headed towards the entrance of the apartment complex, seeing the woman sitting there on the steps, he gave her his patented smile. "Afternoon, miss." he said, his Oklahoma twang setting fire to both the words that slipped past his lips. What? She was a girl and he'd be damned if he passed up the first woman he saw in town. Fuck that.
Opening her eyes when she heard the car, Chloe grinned up at the guy - not bad looking at all. "Good afternoon!" She greeted back, noticing the twang on his words. "Did you just move in? I've never seen you around." Which, of course, meant nothing, but Chloe thought she would ask.
"Yeah." he said, nodding a little and stuffing his hands into his pockets as he stood there, thankfully out of the rain. Realizing he was being rude, he pulled one of those hands back out and offered it to the girl in greeting. "Kaleb Brody." he told her. "You can call me Lux though. Everyone else does."
Rising to her feet, Chloe took his hand in his with a grin. "Chloe Perkins. No nickname." She said, smiling sheepishly. "What's the story being people calling you Lux, though?" She asked, ruffling her newly purple hair, which was starting to look like shit because of the weather.
"Well..." he said, brushing his hand through his hair once he'd pulled it back from hers. "I was in the marines, just got out actually. Twelve years. Anyways, that's besides the point. See, I was in the marines and we used to have to call out these Latin phrases over and over again and I could never remember the shit half the time, but for some reason I always remembered the ones that had 'lux' in them so, it just kinda stuck. Lux means light in Latin." he shrugged. "Too bad it couldn't make me a little more bright with the Latin phrases." he chuckled. "Nice to meet you though. You lived here long?"
Chloe raised an eyebrow and smiled approvingly. Marines explained the hot body she couldn't help but notice. "Ah, I see. That's a cool story, actually." She said, chuckling along with him. "It's nice to meet you too. I've lived here for a couple of years, actually, yeah." She said. "If you need anything, let me know. I'm a friendly neighbor." She said with a smile.
"A friendly neighbor?" he asked, his mouth curling into a crooked sort of smirk as his eyes flicked over the girl. "Guess I'll be sure to keep that in mind." he told her, folding his arms across his chest. "I'm new to town so I could probably use a friendly face. Not used to this Northern sort of vibe." he grinned. "I'm from Oklahoma so it's kinda weird to be a country boy out here."
"I try..." She said, looking him over with the same type of smirk he'd given her. The idea that she might be giving off the vibe of being the 'building slut' didn't even occur to her. "Awww, country boy!" She said with a grin. "No worries, it's not that different, I hope." She wouldn't know, having lived here her whole life. "It's a pretty good town. Why'd you move here, anyway?"
He didn't care if she did come off the tiniest bit slutty. Who didn't like a girl who was confident? Lux sure wasn't going to be one to walk away from a confident woman. "A friend of mine lives here. Old marine buddy. Torque. He lives in the building. Mechanic. Maybe you know him?"
"Ah, yeah, I've seen him around, never really talked I don't think." She said, recalling that his friend was pretty hot too. What? When you didn't really interact, physical aspect was the only thing to stand out! "His little girl is adorable! So, what's next for the ex-marine?" She asked, still smiling.
Lux hadn't seen the little girl yet, but he knew about her. "Yeah." he said. Shrugging a bit, he made an 'I'm not sure' sort of face. "Don't rightly know." he admitted. "Just findin' my way round. Job huntin' and what not. And eatin'..." he went on, lifting the bag that held his fast food in it.
Grinning Chloe nodded. "Food is always a good thing to start with." She said, putting both hands in her pockets. "If you need help finding a job, I could help out. Don't know that many people, but I could at least surf a few websites and stuff like that." Wow, she was really being all neighborly, wasn't she?
"Yeah? That'd be totally awesome." he grinned. "I need to get my net hooked up, but haven't gotten around to it yet. But it'd be nice to have someone that actually knows about the goings on of the town. Don't wanna get a job at a place that totally sucks. I gotta uphold my image, right?" Lux chuckled.
With a grin, Chloe shrugged. "Well, then, I could totally help you there." She said, hoping her very distracted nature wouldn't get in the way of this guy getting a job. Maybe she shouldn't even have offered, but he seemed nice and much less weird than the last guy who had moved into Camelot Place. "Exactly. I could see if they need security at the museum, would you be up for that?"
"Security?" he grinned. Now wouldn't that be an awesome job. "Well hell yeah. Museum, huh? Could give me some interesting shit to look at too." he thought, nodding a little as he spoke. "Yeah, definitely. Lemme know if you hear anything else about that cuz I think that would be right up my alley."
"Yeah, I work at the Planetarium, but I could see if there's an opening somewhere else too, there's lots of museums at the University, so to speak." She told him, smiling. "Of course it would be awesome if you worked right where I work. I'll see about it, I'm headed there later." She said.
"Could be." he smiled. "If you could deal with seein' my ugly mug all the time." Not that he really thought he was ugly. Lux was actually pretty damn sure of himself and it shown in his cheesy little grin.
Giving a slight chuckle, Chloe shook her head. "I've seen much worse, trust me." She said, noticing he was very much joking about calling himself ugly. As well he should be, because the self-deprecating thing was cute, but could get tired really fast. "Then we could carpool, and stuff." She joked.
"Ooooh, carpool." he grinned. "I think I could get behind that idea." he said. More time with the cute chick from the apartment building? Well shit yeah he'd carpool. "So you said you worked at the Planetarium?" he asked. "What exactly do you do there?"
"Glad you like the idea!" She said excitedly, inadvertently calling around a breeze that accidentally blew all around him. Cringing, Chloe smiled sheepishly. "Sorry. I do that sometimes. Anyway, I'm the exhibit coordinator. I have a degree in Astronomy, and I've been working there since college as a guide. I got really lucky that they hired me permanently." She explained.
He blinked a little at the breeze, but more so when the girl said that she did that sometimes. "Make wind?" he asked her. Apparently she wasn't human. Damn that blew. Literally, apparently. That made him wonder if she blew in other ways too, but he decided it'd be best he didn't say that aloud. "Well that's cool." he told her. "You get to do something you love then."
"Manipulate breezes." She shrugged. "It's hard not to, with all this wind." And she damn well liked it, and anyone who didn't could go suck a hot cock. She'd been saying this for ages. "Yeah, got pretty lucky so far." She said, a smirk forming on her lips at the thought of 'getting lucky'. Pervert, she thought to herself.
"Interesting." he said. "I'm a boring old human. At least I'm pretty sure that I am. Guess you never know nowadays." he chuckled. "So you won't be seeing any manipulated breezes or shifts on the full moon." At least he was certain that he wasn't a were-anything. That was one thing he could put a definitely not sticker on. "Getting lucky huh?" he chuckled. "Maybe you can rub some of that luck off on me and I'll get lucky too." With a job of course. A blow job maybe. That thought made him smirk, but he tried his best to wipe it off. "I hope I'm not keeping you from anything." he said. "Probably shouldn't have just interrupted your day like that."
Chloe shook her head, frowning. "You don't seem boring to me." She said, shrugging. "Ah, yeah you never know, maybe you have hidden talents in there." She joked, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Let's hope you do get lucky. I'll do my best." Chloe smiled then, fully aware of the double entendre on that one. "Oh, no, I don't have anything to do until seven. I was just sitting here passing time, like you saw. I might be keeping you from getting on with your move, though."
"Nah." he said, shaking his head. "I got like a couple bags and moving my furniture into place." he admitted. "I don't really got any plans besides that so it'll take like an hour or so and then I'll be all moved in and bored out of my mind. Guess I better make friends pretty fast." he chuckled. He smirked a bit at getting lucky and he nodded. "Yeah, maybe you can help me with that getting lucky." he murmured.
"You should get right on it, then. Go out, check out some bars, whatever. Alternatively, going to the movies is a lot of fun." She suggested with a smile. "I suppose I can." She said, smirking again much like he had. "You know, I won't take long at the museum, so if you wanted to hang out tonight I could show you the feverish night life of Scarlet Oak." Which wasn't all that feverish, or hadn't been until recently, but he probably caught the sarcasm in her voice.
Lux nodded a little. "I think that I could do that." he told her. "See what this little town has to offer. I think that'd be a lot of fun actually." A girl on his arm, if he was lucky, and a little night on the town would certainly be a nice little topper on moving in. "Got any places in particular you like to hang around, Miss Chloe?"
Grinning pleasantly, Chloe thought about it for a minute. "Well, the most exciting place to go I guess would be Heme, because of all the vampires, but if I'm honest I've never even been there." She shrugged. "There's Anywhere But Here, which it's kind of a seedy place but great to get your drink on, and then there's The Mudhouse. It's more of a coffee shop, but dubs as a bar at night." She explained. "What sounds good?"
He thought about it for a minute, brows furrowed in thought and shrugged a bit. "Well, damn. So many decisions. I've never been to a vampire bar." he admitted. "Could be interesting. If you wanted to go there, but we could always just play it safe and go to Anywhere But Here. Sounds like a fun place to spend a little time. Drink a few beers." Lux said.
Chloe obviously didn't care either way, so she shrugged. "Whichever's your favorite, I don't really mind. I do think Anywhere But Here is much more relaxed, though, so I think for an end of the way-slash-showing you around drink it's better if we go there." She said, shrugging once more.
"Sounds good to me." he smiled. "Anywhere But Here it is then." Hey, he could get behind a hot chick and some beers any day and he wasn't about to refuse on this night. "Well, if you wanna just give me your apartment number, I could pick you up around whatever time you'd like." he said.
"Alright then, great!" Chloe grinned. At least this new neighbor wasn't awkward and repressed, on first sight. Plus, he looked more of a man's man than the other guy had, which was good too. Chloe liked them better like this, anyway. "Hmm...You know I was thinking of heading there right after work, so how about I pick you up instead? Because I'm not gonna be home." She told him, winking.
"Alright." he said, nodding. "I think I can do that. What time? I'll be ready." That gave him time to eat and grab a shower and maybe unpack a box or two. Maybe, if he felt like it. He doubted it though because Lux never was one to want to do manual labor if he didn't absolutely have to.
"Let's say about ten?" Better to give it time in case work wasn't so easy to sort out as she thought it would be. She never knew with these things. "I'll tell you to come down and I'll drive us both there." One beer wasn't going to hurt her driving skills coming back, obviously.
"Ten." he smiled. "Ten works." Ten was spectacular if it meant he'd get out of the house his first day in town. Damn straight. He knew how to work that charm and this was proof of that. "Guess I'll see you then?" he said, grinning at her again. "I'm looking forward to it."
"Alright, cool." Chloe grinned excitedly. "Me too!" She said, leaning against the wall. "What's your apartment? So I can ring the right bell and all." She said, smirking.
Lux gave Chloe the apartment number and his cell number just in case she wanted that too. Why not give her all the ways of contacting him? Dropping the both of them was an important little detail that he wasn't about to skip out on. "Great." he said. "I'll be ready when you get here." he promised. "Hope you have a good day at work." he smiled.
"Thanks! I'm gonna go inside and get ready to go, if you need anything, I'll text you with my number so you can call." She said, doing just that after producing her cell phone from her back pocket. "There you go. See you later!" She said, waving as she went into the building.
-Fast Forward to 10 PM-
And so everything was ready for the big new exhibit. Chloe felt good about her work, about how everything had worked out, and she also felt good about the bonus night out with the new neighbor. Parking outside Camelot Place, Chloe dialed Lux's number. "Alright neighbor, I'm outside, come on down." She said as he picked up. Settling her phone back on the dashboard, Chloe leaned back and waited, humming to the loud music playing on the radio.
Lux hadn't done much in the time since he'd spoken to Chloe. He'd gotten a shower, pulled on a pair of jeans, his boots and a t-shirt and he was ready to roll. When she called and let him know that she was downstairs, he headed out the door, snagging his wallet and tucking it into his pocket on the way out. Upon finding the car she was in, he grinned at her and pulled the passenger door open. "On time and everything." he teased. "Good deal."
Grinning, Chloe pulled her tank top down a notch and nodded. "Got lucky, I'm usually way late." She confessed, putting the car in drive as Lux got settled into her car. "So, Lux, I talked to the security people at the museum, they will be hiring starting next week. If you're interest you can go over there and apply then." She announced as she drove away.
"Nice." Lux grinned. That was definitely good news and he'd have to get his shit together and head on over there to see about getting a job. "Thanks." he told the girl. "I really appreciate it." She was being so damn nice and usually people weren't like that all the time. At least he got into an apartment complex with someone that wasn't a total bitch.
Looking over at him from time to time, Chloe couldn't help but keep thinking about how damn hot he was. Scarlet Oak seemed to be having an influx of hot transplants lately, which Chloe was very thankful for. "No problem, hon, any time." She nodded her head to the music and, unsurprisingly, got distracted by this or that more than once on the way. If she wasn't narrowly missing a passer-by, she was narrowly missing an exit. Hopefully, Lux wouldn't notice. Or the cops. The cops were more important. Not fifteen minutes into their trip, they had arrived. "We're here!" She said cheerfully as she parked, thankful that the parking lot wasn't so full that she had enough room to park easily. Not leaving immediately after parking, Chloe leaned back and released the seatbelt, looking over at Lux with a smile. "Ready? I hope I didn't drive too recklessly."
Lux chuckled a little at her question. "I've been in the marines for a good chunk of my life. That's nothing near reckless." He figured it attributed to her whole air elementalness, but wasn't going to call her an airhead because that sounded rude and rude wasn't going to get him any points. Unfastening his own seatbelt, he nodded at her question. "I'm ready when you are, pretty lady."
"You sure?" Chloe chuckled. "I've been told I'm pretty reckless, considering I'm this total airhead." She said sheepishly. Not that she was exactly ashamed, Chloe wasn't like that. She giggled when Lux called her 'pretty lady', because it sure as hell beat the other things guys usually called her - plus, it was a bit different. "Alright, let's get this show on the road." She said, getting out of the car and waiting for him to do the same before locking it. Only because there was a huge sticker next to the door handle saying 'lock me', really, otherwise she'd sure as hell forget.
"I'm sure." Lux promised as he climbed out of the car and made his way around to the front of it. Once Chloe was by his side again, he led her towards the door and pulled it open for her, letting her pass in front of him and into the building before following her inside. It felt good to get out of the apartment for a little while, and how better to do that than in the company of a pretty girl? Lux couldn't think of a better way to spend the night. "So, whatcha gonna be drinkin' tonight?" he asked as they headed towards the bar.
Pulling her handbag over her shoulder, Chloe walked beside Lux into Anywhere But Here, still smiling. "Beer. What else is there?" She asked, smiling playfully. "What about you?" She asked as she settled in front of the bar, signaling the bartender and pointing at the beer bottle belonging to the guy standing next to her on the other side of Lux.
"Beer sounds good to me." Lux said, seconding the order to the bartender. Once their bottles were dropped off, he let his fingers twine around the one that belonged to him and lifted it to his lips to take a sip, eyes flicking once more over Chloe. Setting the bottle down again, he smiled at her and got himself settled at the bar. "So how was work?" he asked her, as lame a question as it might have been, he actually wanted to know.
Chloe mimicked Lux's movements and took the beer to her lips, taking a sip of the cold, bitter drink. "Work was fine." She answered, shrugging. There wasn't much else to tell, everything was settled, Chloe rocked at her job, and all was right with the world. "The exhibit is all set to open tomorrow, I'm supposed to be there in the morning to train the guides, which blows, obviously, but other than that, fine." She smiled happily.
Fine wasn't the best, but fine was better than bad and she was smiling, so Lux took her for her word. "Good." he said as he wound his fingers around the bottle once again. "Grand." he wne t on,e yes flicking over the girl beside him. "So, tell me about you, Chloe. Getting to know you time, that's what we need, right?" he chuckled.
With a slight chuckle, Chloe took a sip on her beer before speaking. "Hmmm...About me. Well, I'm twenty-five, I live with my dog Leeloo - she talks by the way, psychically - and I'm very forgetful at times. That's the basics, you got any questions? I can do this all night." She grinned. "But I'm thinking you should tell me about yourself too."
"She talks?" Lux asked with a chuckle. "Well damn, how am I supposed to one up that?" He doubted that it was possible to one up a talking dog, no matter how said dog talked. "Well... about me, hmm? I'm thirty. I've been a marine since shortly after I turned eighteen. Just recently got out and came here. I'm from Oklahoma. Not really sure what else to tell you." he smiled. "I don't have a talking dog."
"She does. And usually says wise things, too." Chloe replied, chuckling as he had done. "Few people have talking dogs, we won't hold that against you." She joked, patting him on the shoulder as if to reassure him. "You didn't tell me why you came here." She pointed out, smirking. "Did you?" He might have, she tended to forget things.
"I might have, but if I did, I don't remember." he chuckled. "A friend of mine, Torque, he lives in the same building. Came out to see him and I wanted a change anyway, figured this place is as good as any, right?" Lux grinned. It sounded like perfect logic to him, but his logic wasn't always the best.
Well, it was probably as good a reason as any. Sometimes people just got tired of their surroundings and needed to change, Chloe could understand that. Maybe that was why her parents traveled so much, as well. "Yeah, no, it's understandable. I get it. I never felt the need for a change of scenery, yet, but that doesn't mean I won't, either." Chloe smiled, and finished her beer. "I shouldn't be drinking because I'm driving, but do you want another one?"
"I'm alright for now." he told her. "Don't want to be completely gone. You might take advantage of me." he teased, giving her a little wink. Of course that didn't mean he wouldn't love to be taken advantage of, thank you very much. She was more than welcome to if she wanted.
Chloe's smile broke into laughter as Lux explained his concerns regarding his safety in her hands if he drank too much. Playing with the empty beer bottle with one hand, Chloe leaned forward a little and narrowed her eyes. "It's not taking advantage of someone if that someone wants to be taken advantage of." She teased.
"You've got a point there." Lux allowed, a teasing little grin playing on his lips. "But you'd have to want to take advantage of me for all that to work, ya know?" he pointed out, eyes sliding over her body one quick time and back up to meet hers again. "So, do you wanna take advantage of me?"
This was going great, if Chloe said so herself. He seemed to be as much into shameless flirting as she was, and that was a good thing. A great way to decompress. Sticking her thumb between her teeth, Chloe grinned. "Play your cards right, soldier, I just might." She teased some more.
"Keep teasing me like that and calling me 'soldier' and I just might enjoy it." Lux smirked, lifting his beer and finishing it off before replacing it on the counter. The little date or non-date or whatever it was was certainly going a hell of a lot better than Lux had even thought it could.
Chloe's smirk grew as she leaned forward a little more, sitting closer to Lux as she did. "I'll do just that then, soldier." She nearly whispered, licking her lips when she was done talking. Then, and because this was starting to look like a long, fun night, she signaled the bartender to get her another beer.
The grin on his face said that Lux definitely approved of the direction that the night seemed to be going. "You know you're kinda sexy when you're being all teasing like that." he murmured, leaning in just a bit. "Course that doesn't mean you're not sexy since the moment I saw you."
With a soft giggle, Chloe got the slightest bit closer to Lux without taking her eyes off him, and took off her raincoat. "Oh you like that, do you?" She grinned, because who didn't like to know the hot soldier in front of her found her sexy? "Maybe I should tease some more?" She suggested, running her fingers over the collar of her t-shirt while looking Lux in the eye.
Swallowing down some air and letting his teeth drag over his lower lip, Lux watched her fingertips as they ran along the collar of her t-shirt and he imagined those pretty little fingers being elsewhere. Damn them being in a slightly crowded bar. "Maybe we shoulda stayed at my apartment." he murmured.
After one lingering look over Lux, Chloe looked away to down some more of her beer before crossing her legs and turning back to him. "We can always leave." She suggested, one eyebrow raised while she smirked. For good measure, she had decided to bat her lashes slightly as well.
Lux smirked a little at her. "Are you trying to seduce me, Chloe?" he asked her, all too much hoping that the woman would say yes and make his night and probably most of his morning. "We definitely could leave." he agreed, nodding a little and reaching over to tuck her hair behind her ear. "Question is, is that what you wanna do?"
A chuckle escaped Chloe at Lux's question, and then she turned toward the bar. Downing her beer in one sip, Chloe pulled some money out of her pocket and smacked it on the table. Then, she hopped off the stool with a face that looked like that of a kid on Christmas morning. She pulled Lux by the hand. "Come on." She said, turning around and running towards the door.
Lux made the quick move of paying for his own drink and heading right out the door after her. Like he was going to just sit there dumbfounded when there was hotness walking out the door like that. Yeah, freaking right. What the fuck ever. He followed her out to her car and caught her by the wrist as she reached it, giving her a firm tug to turn her around to face him and then pushing her back against the car, the hand not at her arm coming up to cup her face. Leaning in, he stole a kiss and gave her a tiny little smirk as he pulled away again. "Thought you might like a preview." he murmured, brows arched slightly before he shifted away completely and moved around the car to climb in.
While Chloe couldn't say she had been expecting Lux to pull her in for a kiss right then and there, she couldn't say she had been caught completely off-guard either. Laughing all the while, before he actually kissed her, Chloe raised her eyebrows in approval when he was done. "Yeah, not bad..." She teased, smirking. Chloe hopped on her car and didn't even wait for Lux to fasten his seatbelt. Pressing matters, and all. She drove off as fast as she could, and as if her own limitations weren't enough, she was even more distracted this time around. It was hard, but she didn't even glance at Lux the whole drive back. If he liked to be teased, then she would happily oblige.
She was an evil little thing, but if she wanted to play hard to get, then he'd play right back. She didn't look at him, so he didn't look at her. He didn't even speak the entire way back to the apartment complex and even after he'd gotten out of the car, he kept his mouth shut, eyes flicking finally to the woman and waiting for her to lead the way.
Lead the way she did, almost running into the building and up the stairs without checking to see if Lux was following - because unless he was an idiot, he would be. She faced a bit of an obstacle as she got to her door and couldn't find her keys, but once she found them and unlocked the door, Chloe walked into her apartment expecting to find Leeloo somewhere. Leeloo, wherever you are, don't come out. I've got company. She communicated with her familiar, hoping Leeloo would pick it up.
Ooooh. Got it. I'm in the kitchen. Don't come in here, because...ew. Leeloo communicated back, to which Chloe gave a smile. Turning to Lux, she caught her tongue with her teeth and smirked. "Honey, we're home." She nearly sang, making her way slowly towards her bedroom in the dark and by walking backwards. Sure, she bumped into a few walls on the way, but luckily it didn't cramp her style. While she was walking, Chloe undid the braces and buttons of her shorts, in a painfully slow motion.
Well damn if she didn't have the right idea. He watched her closely as she walked backwards and no matter how clumsy it was, the walk was cute, and it amused Lux more than it probably should have. She was unbuttoning her shorts, so he let his fingertips find the hem of his shirt and he pulled it up and over his head, tossing it on the floor somewhere en route to her bedroom, not much caring where the damn thing ended up. It was no longer needed after all, so who cared?
The odd thing there would be to get out of those pink wellington boots, but she would figure it out. In the meantime, Chloe's shorts had dropped down her legs and she had walked out of them, grinning with satisfaction when Lux removed his t-shirt.They got to her room not long after, and then Chloe turned on the light, sat on the bed and pulled her boots of in two swift movements. Then, she stood up again and removed her t-shirt. Licking her lips, she looked to Lux expectantly.
Lux just wanted to take it all in. He hadn't had time to be with much of anyone if it wasn't just looking at strippers and spending quality time with himself since being out of the marines and now faced with someone hot and waiting for him, he was ready to toss himself right into that ocean. Fingers at the belt looped through his jeans, he unfastened it and pulled it free in one swift motion, tossing it aside and taking a brief moment to pull his boots free, his socks soon following. Stepping closer to the bed and to Chloe, he grinned at her, leaning over enough to steal her lips in a less quick kiss, this time taking time to make sure she gave him more than a 'not bad'.
Chloe herself couldn't help but admire those washboard abs. Lux was a fine, fine specimen indeed. She bit her bottom lip as he fumbled with the belt and boots, and before he got closer she had an idea. Leaning over her beside table for a moment, Chloe turned on the mini-stereo that worked as the best alarm clock she had ever had. Bush's 'Chemicals between us' was playing, and Chloe shrugged. A good song for sex as any, she supposed. When he stepped closer to kiss her, Chloe's arms went around his shoulders tightly and she gave it her all. No more teasing, for a while.
He was glad there wasn't any teasing because when she gave it her all, she definitely helped his body figure out what the hell was going on. His jeans, already fitted tight to begin with, became almost painfully tight and he wanted out of them, damn it. Still kissing her, he fumbled with the button and the zipper, pushing them down enough that he could work them off and step out of them. Pushing them aside with one foot, he grinned at her as he broke the kiss and caught her by the waist, lifting her and moving her further back on the bed. "I think I'm gonna like living in this building." he murmured before stealing another kiss and moving over her on the bed.
Finally, no pants. This made Chloe see things on a whole other perspective - a good perspective - and she was happy not to be disappointed. She let herself be pushed further on the bed with a grin that turned into a loud chuckle at Lux's murmur. "Aren't you glad you decided to move?" She replied back before losing herself in his kiss and moving her hands over his muscled back, shoulders and arms - heaven, heaven, heaven if you asked her. Who the hell needed scrawny, shy and complicated new neighbors when you could have this instead? Chloe was going to like having Lux around, she just knew it.
"Mhm." he murmured against her lips. The way that her fingers felt gliding over his skin sent a sensation of arousal straight between his thighs. If he wasn't already straining against his boxers, he would have been by now. "I think the rest of your clothes need to go." he told her. "How bout you take them off for me? Give me a nice little show? I'm kinda curious how that body of yours moves."
That, they could agree on. All clothes needed to go at that point, if Chloe did say so herself. At Lux's request that she danced, Chloe chuckled loudly, tossing her head back. When she looked at him again, she was smirking. "Oh, no, babe. No, if I'm dancing, then you're dancing with me. So come on." She said, pushing him off of her and getting off the bed. So Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' was playing, and it wasn't exactly the appropriate music for this kind of dance. Chloe could make it work, she was an improviser, if anything. Swaying to the rhythm, which wasn't so hard anyway, she pulled Lux towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist between giggles. She swayed her hips from left to right but it wasn't long before she was back to kissing Lux, tugging at his lips with her teeth and feeling over his boxers playfully.
Lux couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't everyday that you could be right about to have sex and then suddenly be getting off the bed to go dance with that person you were going to have sex with. But he wasn't going to deny her the dancing either. So he let his arms move around her waist and lost himself into that kiss, letting out a little groan against her mouth when her fingers ghosted over him through his boxers. She might be playing with him, but Lux certainly approved of this sort of playing.
Such was The Way of Chloe: Sex was never just sex because not only was 'just sex' extremely boring, but she was very prone to get distracted. Although judging by the placement of at least one of her hands right now, her distraction was right on course. Suddenly Chloe remembered she was extremely horny and decided to cut with the dancing nonsense. Pushing Lux onto the bed, hoping he wouldn't resist too much, she straddled him before taking her hands to her back and unhooking her own bra. Experience had long ago told Chloe she might as well do it herself, otherwise things could be delayed a good fifteen minutes. She released her arms free of the bra straps and threw the bra away. Then she leaned over Lux and kissed him again, tracing kisses from his mouth down to his neck, with the occasional soft bite here and there.
Letting out a little grunt when she pushed him back on the bed, Lux was a bit surprised at how suddenly the game had changed yet again. It must have been that whole air elemental thing. Flighty, definitely, but damn if she wasn't a sexy little thing. Before he could really think, she was on top of him, legs on either side of his body and reaching behind herself to pull that annoyingly in the way bra off and toss it aside. Damn if he wasn't happy as shit to have her nearly naked and on top of him. The kisses that trailed down to his neck gained a roll of his hips upwards, pressing against that warmth and softness between her thighs. Even with the thin fabric of his boxers and her panties, he could feel how hot she was for him. "Are all air elementals this sexy?" he gasped out, hands finding her hips and holding her in place as he rolled his hips towards hers again. "I shoulda found me one a long time ago."
Now they were in business, if the moan escaping Chloe's mouth when Lux pressed up against her was anything to go by. She giggled at his question, busy trailing the tip of her tongue from his shoulder upwards to his neck. "Dunno, don't know another one." She whispered. "Maybe it's just me and in that case you're really, really lucky." She teased before pulling herself back up. Despite her airheady nature there were things she didn't play with, and this was one of them. Without getting off of Lux she reached to her bedside table and opened the first drawer. "Oooh scented and colorful!" She exclaimed playfully as it was the first box of condoms her fingers touched. She looked at Lux in thought then. "Let's see if I can find orange." She said, fiddling through the box until she got one bright orange pack and, without closing the drawer, turned her attention back to Lux, grinning. "These are new, glad to try them with you." She said before ripping the plastic wrapper open. "Want me to do the honors?"
Flavored condoms? Well damn. He wasn't going to complain about her using a flavored condom because that meant his dick might be in her mouth at some point and that was certainly enough imagery to have his cock practically twitching with anticipation. "Be my guest." he told her as he let his hand move between their bodies, catching the waistband of his boxers and dragging it down enough to let his cock spring free. It certainly made the discomfort of being restricted go away.
"Mkay." She said, and proceeded to fit the bright orange condom around Lux's cock with a grin of someone who was having a lot of fun. Once it was done, Chloe slid down the bed more-or-less gracefully and once she was on her knees on the carpet, looked up at Lux. "I wanna know if it actually tastes like orange." She announced, grinning mischievously. Well, it smelled like orange, now she needed to taste it, too. And then, Chloe went at it, sucking his cock nice and slowly for about ten minutes. And then she remembered this wasn't a goddamn condom tasting and she wanted to get some too. Her panties were still in the way, but that wasn't something that couldn't be fixed quickly, while she was sucking his cock, even. Pulling here and tugging there, Chloe released herself from her underwear, and then pulled away from Lux's cock. She placed her hands on either side of his body and slid back up on top of him, not wasting one second to contemplate him before she positioned herself over his cock and let it sink. Oh, glorious feeling. It never got old. Ever. She let out a deep sigh and began moving her hips slowly, glancing down at Lux with a smile.
Getting head certainly wasn't something that Lux minded. Chloe was good at it too and somewhere in that ten minutes, he managed to get out of his boxers and by the time she decided to move right along, he was ready for her. And she wanted to be on top? Well fuck yes. As far as he was concerned, she could ride this cowboy right off into oblivion. "Fuck." he whispered, his hands finding her hips as she set her rhythm and grinned down at him. It had been far too long and he really had to remember not to ever let that much time go by ever, ever again.
Placing her hands over his, Chloe kept moving to the rhythm of the music playing - apparently she was into that a lot lately - already feeling her body heat rising up, which was always a good sign. After a while she bent over Lux to kiss him again, her tongue massaging his with gusto as Chloe grinned slightly. Oh, she was enjoying herself alright.
Each time she rolled her body down against his, Lux rolled his hips right back into hers. A few minutes of being ridden was right up his alley, but he liked a little variety and he doubted that she was going to mind his next move. When she leaned down to kiss him, her tongue finding it's way into his mouth, he let his arm hook around her waist and in one quick motion, rolled them over, taking up his position above her. "Good god." he whispered against her mouth before kissing her again. His fingertips trailed along her thigh and urged it up just a little higher on his hip. Damn if she didn't feel like awesome in female form.
Even though she wasn't expecting Lux to turn them around, Chloe couldn't say she didn't enjoy the change in things; when he rolled her around she giggled loudly before his lips were over hers again and Chloe kissed him with the same gusto as before. She obliged at his urging her leg up a little higher, crossing her legs on his back and wiggling her toes with the motion. Lux could potentially become the best fucking neighbor in the world... literally.
Lux let out a little groan against her mouth as he picked up a rhythm. Her giggle didn't bother him in the slightest. It was actually a hot little noise that had escaped her. At least she was having a good time. That was the entire point. "Damn..." he whispered, nipping her lower lip and letting his teeth lightly graze across her flesh.
By now Chloe was already letting little moans escape her here and there, heartfelt ones, because dammit if Lux wasn't pretty good at this. Though she could tell it had been a while, and she thought it couldn't last that long, for that same reason. But however long it lasted, poor guy deserved it to be good, and Chloe did try her best.
It wasn't going to be long and Lux wasn't ashamed in the slightest by his stamina. If he could just make it long enough to let her come first, everything would be just peachy. Letting his hand trail up her thigh, he dipped it between their bodies and found that little nub of nerves that lay between her folds. "Come on, little darlin'." he whispered against her mouth before kissing her again. "Lemme hear that voice of yours."
Even if that didn't work, Chloe was very rarely in it for the end game. And she had been having fun, what more could she want? She held her breath for a few seconds when he started rubbing her clitoris. "Hmmmm..." She purred as she closed her eyes and her legs tighter around him.
"Just like that." he whispered, letting his lips find her neck, nipping lightly at her flesh. The roll of his fingertips across that tiny bud mimicked the roll of his hips. Sometimes slow, sometimes quick, always moving them in coordination with the sounds that slipped from her lips.
Chloe wasn't going to 'get there' - oh how she hated it when she thought in euphemisms, as if it wasn't enough having to talk through them - so soon, but she wasn't bothered. She was feeling damn good regardless of the existence of orgasms, shivering here and there with each nip of his teeth at her neck. "Don't feel like you have to hold back, soldier, I'm having fun!" She whispered, giggling like some sort of deranged pixie.
He was having a hard time holding back when she was telling him not to. Even the giggle that she let out made a heated shiver roll up her back and he bit his bottom lip through a groan. "Fuck..." he whispered, leaning down to catch her mouth with his own as he lost the fight with trying to hold out, his body jerking in a staccato sort of rhythm as he found his end, a gasp of her name on his lips.
Chloe didn't want him to hold back, at all. Her legs pressed hard against his sides when he kissed her again, herself taking pleasure in his own fulfillment. It didn't need to be always about her, after all. "Oh baby my name sounds so good when you say it like that!" She whispered, grinning widely as she waited for his body to stop jerking and him to collapse against her. She pressed a kiss to his cheek and closed her eyes, plenty satisfied.
When he finally did collapse against her, he couldn't help but let out a little breathy laugh. "Chloe." he whispered again, pressing his lips to her neck with another little smile afterward. "God it's been too long."
Still with eyes closed, Chloe ran her fingers through Lux's short hair absently, as her breath settled. "Aww you poor baby." She said, pouting. "You have a lot to make up for, then." She said suggestively, before grinning. "Welcome to the building, by the way." Chloe added as an afterthought, enjoying the fading warmth of his body against hers.
"Mhm." he murmured. "Much more often. And if I get a welcome like that... well damn, I might need to stick around this place for a while." Lux smirked. He'd never been welcomed to an apartment building or really anywhere quite the way that Chloe had welcomed him. He was in no rush to leave her either as he shifted only long enough to rid himself of the condom and move back beside her on the bed, pulling her body close to his own. "Thanks for the welcome."
Giving a laugh, Chloe shifted on the bed to get more comfortable. "Yeah, well. Just so you know I don't do this to every guy who moves in here." Especially because not every guy who moved to Camelot Place really struck a chord with her. Thank God. She'd be a busy bee otherwise. "It's no problem." Chloe yawned. She was actually beginning to show signs of being tired, and relaxed as she usually got after having sex, her eyes became heavy. "I'm getting sleepy." She announced. She wouldn't want to kick him out already, but truth be told if he didn't let her sleep soon, she would.
"That my cue to hightail it?" Lux whispered, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Or do you think you can share a bed til morning?" In all honesty, he doubted he'd be able to move to leave, but if that was what she wanted, Lux would make himself scarce. Sitting around unwelcome certainly wasn't something that he was prepared to do.
Chloe snickered. "Nah, sweetie, no need. Especially because you probably don't even have a proper bed yet." She said, rolling off the bed to retrieve her underwear. "Just get under the covers." She told him, getting her underwear on and taking a t-shirt from the dresser to wear to sleep. When she returned to the bed, she glanced over at Lux and smirked. "This doesn't make me your girlfriend, by the way." It was important to say, too many times she hadn't mentioned this fact and things had gone horribly wrong at one point or another. "Oh, and Leeloo usually sleeps on the rug, so..." Chloe lifted up her chin, mentally telling Leeloo she was free to join them for sleeping if she so wished. The sleepy dog came soon after, nuzzling Chloe's hand before settling down on the rug. Chloe smiled.
Lux got up from the bed long enough to grab his boxers and pull them on. Climbing back into the bed with Chloe, he chuckled a little. "I don't do girlfriends." he told her. "I don't think I'm very good at it, so no worries when it comes to that." Lux hadn't had a girlfriend in so long that he was fairly certain he'd never be able to make the right sort of stable guy for anyone. So he never really wanted to try and fix it. Pulling the blanket up and over his body, he rested his head against the pillow and smirked a little to himself. "Night, Chloe."
Well then that was just good news. "Oooh yay!" Chloe exclaimed, happy that this didn't feel awkward at all. It was kind of like they were becoming friends with benefits, or something. She was okay with that. "Me either, which is why I thought I'd let you know." She said, turning to find a comfortable position against her pillow. "Night, babe." She told Lux, closing her eyes.
