...this was a cop-out then, a lame excuse of some coward who was not brave enough to show his own face. Kiara's face twisted a little in disgust at the idea of ever using something else to do business for her. She would never even dream of it. The siren had spent too many years as a solider and a leader to be able to hide behind anything for any reason. If she wanted to meet with someone then she would be the one doing the meeting. Not some corpse with a walkie-talkie attached to its chest.
"Oh aye, I see what you're doing and I think it marks you as a bit o' a coward," Kiara remarked, not even bothering to hide what she felt. No point to it. If she was going to teach someone then she needed to have at least a little bit of respect for them. And that was hard when they hid behind a corpse, even if it was an interesting bit of magic to pull off. Magic she herself did not know. "You can use this fancy little trick o' yours this once, but never again or you'll be learning naught from me." And she was, in her own mind, the best blood witch in the country. She did have quite a bit of experience on her side and had never come across a siren outside of her family who believed in practicing magic.
