"Sounds painful." she said as she pulled her hand back and brushed her fingers through her hair, tucking it behind her ear. She wondered how he'd managed to put his hand through a window, but she held that question at bay.
She didn't really get much of a chance to ask the man more about the bandaging anyway because Caius came back to his mother asking for a drink. She smiled at the boy and sifted through her purse to find the water bottle she'd brought for him. It was hot out and she wasn't about to let him play out in the heat with no hydration.
Caius climbed onto the bench with her, perching himself on the edge and unscrewing the bottle cap to take a drink. "My son." she told Mikhail. "Caius."
