Piper beamed at his compliment at her bracelet. She didn't expect anymore than an agreement with her and certainly nothing less. "Thanks." She jiggled her wrist a moment more before letting her hand fall. She just loved the way it looked and the little tinkle of sound. She couldn't help it. That's also why she loved jangly earrings.
"Cotton Candy is definitely something good but I think I'm good for now." Otter's assumption that she had gotten into the sweets before running into him was correct. She'd already had a soda and an elephant ear - both saturated in sugar. Piper wasn't one to tell her mom she was correct but her mom was right. She could feel the sugar energy surging through her and she just knew she was going to crash. She just hoped she wouldn't run into her mom who would certainly notice and comment. She tossed those ideas out and focused back on Otter. Thinking of her mom was annoying.
"Of course you gotta have fun and as we've learned I'm a good source of fun." She giggled. "And yeah, telling your mom is not a good idea. I like to keep things on the down low if you know what I mean. Mom would just freak out and then I'd be on house arrest or something stupid like that." She rolled her eyes before looping her arm around Otter's. "Okay, let's wander. I've got a good eye." She scanned the area. "Oh and I saw some plants before." She started dragging him to where she had seen them. "Let me show you."
