"I had noticed that, yeah." He smiled too, a bit more broadly. He trusted his friend, and he'd heard enough not to have reason to believe that Tobias would shun him for it or anything, but it was second nature by now to worry that his abilities would affect relationships in unpredictable ways. This...truly, this was a relief. Having one friend he didn't have to lie to or hide from would make things so much better.
"So you...find things?" He really was curious to the finer points of how it worked, because he'd never been able to gather exact details, but he knew he was treading on rather dangerous ground. He tacitly acknowledged, by not saying anything, that everything he'd heard about Athena would indeed remain secret, but he knew his question was getting a bit close to the subject for comfort.
