"If you can get them to stop being themselves for a bit that'd be great." Really, Dagmar didn't dislike her family, she just couldn't stand them half the time now. After being away at college for a year and learning what it was like to not have them always around she'd discovered that she liked that. But coming home for the summer reminded her that she couldn't always have that unless she found a way to be like Kajsa. Day by day she was seeing how hard that'd be. Her thirst for independence wasn't nearly as strong as her older sister's and she couldn't draw those same lines in her own life. More like her mother in ways that she'd rather not be when it came to things like this. Obey the family and all that. "Nah, not really, just chill with me and don't talk about other girls or guys or any of that. I'm tired of hearing about people's crushes." Her ego didn't react well to hearing about people who weren't her.
Dagmar didn't get people who were into land sports either. Where was the appeal in running around whacking at or throwing a ball? Seriously! She was right there with Danny on not thinking those sports were worth the effort so many put into them when she felt her head drenched by a wave Danny splashed at her. "Oh!" she laughed once she was done sputtering. She couldn't make one that big with just her hand but she had an advantage on her side. Sliding her hands under the water she brought them up, using both the force and a little bit of her elemental abilities to create an almost-geyser straight up at his face. "That's what you get for throwing a wave at me!" God, how long had it been since she just played in the water with someone other than her sister? Over a year at least. Felt nice.
