Psalm was growing frustrated, why wouldn't she ever believe what he was saying? It wasn't like he was just giving a half-hearted performance here. He was trying his hardest to push her away.
"Myra, no one keeps promises they made when they were six. Stop trying to save everyone." He crossed his arms and looked back up at her. "I'm not stuck with anyone or anything Myra. I'm pretty sure the way everyone around me died kind of showed you that."
He promised himself he would never pull out that card on her, she didn't need that in her life. "And you think that games we used to play are still relevant now? I just want to be left alone Myra, everyone else does so why can't you?"
