"Hilarious," Whisper agreed, reaching down to stroke Makoto's head in order to appease the cat. It was not often that she came across animals that would allow her to give attention like this and even less often that she wanted to since so many people seemed to have dogs instead of cats. Ugh, dogs, she shuddered just at the thought of those monsters. Thankfully no one nearby had one so she hadn't needed to have Jerold loose his familiar on them.
Straightening, Whisper picked a stray cat hair off of her dress. "You have a party to be getting to if I remember correctly," the vampire remarked after glancing at the clock on the wall. "I wouldn't want to keep you too long from it, especially since you'll be returning later for Jerold and the exchange payment." Whisper would not lie, she was quite looking forward to that. Two nights in a row of her favorite blood type... that was not the most common occurrence and she knew better than to turn it down.
