At least he was having fun, but apparently something that Alanna said about dangerous people was news to him because Krist's expression changed. Maybe it's different for him since he grew up different. Though Alanna could not imagine having never been worried about what this or that person was going to do or able to do or any of it, she was just nervous by nature and it had only gotten worse when she had been bitten. Really, it made sense that she would be a chipmunk if she had to be anything.
"Running it is," Alanna chirped happily. It was hard to find a good running partner when the rest of the team was so far away. She accepted his phone and went to the contacts to punch her number in before sending herself a quick text so that she would be able to call him like he said she could. It was always good to have someone new to communicate with, another reason to keep her hands busy when she had no good reason to fidget. "I'll give you a ring sometime so we can set up a morning run, that's when I like to go since it's summer and so hot, get it out of the way before the sun heats everything up." Her hair was not very appreciative of the humidity when it came.
"So, what have you been up to other than moving in with humans and getting bought all these fancy watches and such?" Alanna asked, voice more teasing than anything else.
