"yeah it really was a relief to get out of the class room and into something real. I was so sick of ginormous textbooks and college professors blathering on and on about different things. but I can tell you from experience, it is one thing to learn something and a completely different thing to apply it for the first time." she said wit ha chuckle. "I was so scared about treating my first patient with out any supervision, I was afraid that i might actually make the patient worse. Fortunately i got over it and now he is up and about somewhere in new york." she said. She would never forget that first session. She had literally been petrified so all she had been able to do was say 'Yes yes i see, and how does that make you feel?' and doodle in her notebook. after that things had gotten a whole lot easier for her.

I'm not a protester or an activist or anything, but I can't stand discrimination, no matter what it's about. I do love the fact that our town is so diverse, you never know who your going to met. It's one of the things I missed the most when I was at college." she said.
"What about you? do you like it better here than in Anne arbor. I know its been a few months but have you had any trouble adjusting?" she asked curiously.
