"What I do," Whisper repeated. Yes, that had been what the last assistant had said as well. She, however, had not meant it in the slightest as had become more than apparent after not even three weeks. Such a disappointment. But she had not remarked on thinking Whisper was the right person to learn from, something that was quite nice to hear. The vampire craved attention and having an assistant who thought that her work was to be admired and looked up to would be right up her alley.
Brushing an invisible hair off the desk, Whisper folded her hands. "As my assistant you'll learn quite a bit about the fashion world, you'll get to go to any shows I do and learn how to work with the models. But that's not every day. Every day tends to be a little more menial - sketching, pinning, cutting, sewing... since I'm not human you won't have to worry about fetching coffee or any of that, but you'd be doing tasks for me that I don't have time to." Whisper drummed her fingers on the tabletop. "Do you have much experience with taking notes, fax machines, handling a schedule...?" Whisper could, of course, do all of that herself and had been for too long, but that was really the point of someone else working for her. She had undergone something similar back when she began.
