Kerry shuffled over a little to let the stranger sit beside him (which said a lot about him really) and curled his toes in towards each other as the brunette pointed out his lack of shoe, making him feel embarassed and self-conscious. But then shoes were being offered to him... "O-oh, I can't t-take those from y-you." he said, huddling in and shaking his head, unwilling to leave the kind stranger without shoes too.
He looked back up at the tall man and his earlier apprehension faded away; it was hard to be afraid of such a large man who was in turn so afraid of such a tiny fox. He stood up, still in bare feet, and tottered a few steps towards the man. "It's s-s-saef h-here." he called out, even beckoning the man over.
