Raina may not have been as emotional as Sloane was, but she knew when her friend was hurt, if even mildly and she touched her reassuringly. Being a Water Elemental made her naturally emotional and she got used to her emotions, Sloane was never one to feel bad about them. You felt what you felt and all you could do was feel them until they passed.
If course Sloane had stared back at Raina with an unconvinced expression as she continued blushing. Laughing when she pointed out an obvious truth, there was no comparison when it came to Sloane and her infatuation with Will. She had been blushing and half in love with him since high school, it was kind of hard to beat her emotions anyway when it came to him, since she always felt them so deeply.
Sloane looked up as Lizzy returned, giving her a warm smile. "Not at all," she said, taking a sip of her iced tea. Her eyes flicked back to Raina for a second as the young girl insisted Raina order the seafood pasta and she had to turn away to smile as Raina looked so uncomfortable.
