Josiah's eyes widened a little and he nodded. "You know how to make it, Isaiah." There would be much to talk about later, it seemed. If he hadn't heard about this girl and he was making her the pasta dish that was a coveted family secret, she was special indeed.
Lizzy was practically jumping out of her skin. The seafood pasta. The seafood pasta. This was huge in her eyes and she could already see the fairy tale unfolding before her eyes. "You got it, Sai. I'm on it." Grinning, she got the drink orders and the freshest bread basket and headed back to the table where Raina and Sloane sat, the hugest smile on her face.
"Sorry about the wait on the drinks. Had to confer with the chef in the back. He recommends the seafood pasta this evening and I think it's an excellent choice if you're so inclined." It was clear just who Lizzy meant by 'the chef', but she was still trying to keep the mask of professionalism despite the fact that this was his brother's girl and he was making her the pasta dish.
