Blake rolled his eyes. "Not true. I could have landed a record deal or been cast as the attractive young lead in a movie because they saw my part in that vampire movie while editing it and said this is exactly what we need for our movie! We must have him." It was highly unlikely that someone would see him in zombie make-up with a bucket on his head and say - this is who I need for my movie, but Blake could dream right? "...Am I really that easy to figure out?" He asked, but he knew deep down that he absolutely was. He cried far too much for it to be coincidence and he could never ever hide anything from his brother. So it was a given. "Is that his kid?" Blake couldn't remember the name sadly. "If so, yeah. They said he was alright."
Blake could still believe in his brother, and hope that the day wouldn't be hard on him. He needed to talk to Jackson, but if he needed to not think about serious things, then Blake could easily slip into the role of comic relief as he did so many times before. "I vote not in the house." Blake responded with a shrug. "But if it gets big when she goes off to college, then it will be the school's problem not ours."
"I'm better at losing with dignity than you'd imagine." Blake mumbled. He didn't want the topic to come up like this and wished he hadn't said anything at all. "Maybe later tonight?" Blake doubted Jackson would want to hang out with him the whole night though, what with news of Vol and all.
"Well it's not like the world is really giving me a reason to like it lately." Blake was being honest there, even excluding the monumentally crappy day he had the day before, it wasn't like he was having the best of luck. "I'm trying to be cautious." But he was being cautious in all the wrong areas.
