Adam smiled at the thought of living under a rock. "I've always been a bit old school when it comes to that, I'm afraid. My agent talked me into getting a Facebook." All the applications one could find there just perplexed him, for the most part. He had no intention of using "superpoke" any time soon, though a couple of the (older) friends he had from college thought it was hilarious. "It's what has to be done, though. I'll have to look into it later, see exactly what's up there and what I can do to change it." The thought of playing with a website, the coding that built it, was daunting, but Adam was sure he could learn how to do it if he absolutely had to.
"Torte di Angeli? I think that one's been here for ages, I remember it from when I was growing up. The food's amazing, though I haven't had their bagels in forever. There's not much that compares to the ones I got in New York, though, when I was at Columbia." He realized then that he probably hadn't told Ross all of his life story, what brought him back to Michigan. "I just moved back a little while ago, maybe a month? When I learned I got the job here at the university. I'm originally from Scarlet Oak, actually. I have my own apartment, over at Camelot Place? So no worries about a cardboard box or anything of the sort." Granted the advance for And You Tell Me I Am Home hadn't been much, but it was selling well now and he was making some money off it, so that was a good thing. It was sweet that Ross seemed a little worried about him, though.
