Not really the native habitat for either of them. Who: Coby and Fin Where: Forest When: Late evening
Coby was completely exhilerated. A job! A job and getting some! How could the day get any better. She tried to go home and sleep, but it eluded her. She decided a run in were form might help her calm down. At any rate, shifting seemed to be easier when she was already excited. Not bothering with her car, she ran down the mostly empty streets towards the woods. Hopefully, the other weres she knew were probably out there somewhere would leave her be to her run.
She flung her clothes up in a tree and got down on all fours, wincing at the pain rushing her body like a two by four to the ribs. Coby laid in lioness form for a long few minutes, catching her breath as the pain drifted away in the loveliness of the grass underneath her, the birds singing in the distance, small creatures rustling in the bushes. She stood, tan body lithe and strong, and ran. As much as she hated shifting, the end result was worth it. Coby never felt stronger than when she was in lioness form.
After probably twenty minutes of running through the woods, scaring the small creatures and birds who weren't familiar with the scent of a female lion, she threw herself down at the base of a tree, sides heaving. Adrenaline caught up with her, and she grinned. It probably looked pretty terrifying, if anyone had been around.
