philodox Who: Blake and Luke Where: 7/11 When: Sunday June 21, 2009, afternoon
Blake had a feeling the traumatics of his day weren't about to end any time soon. To be fair, he figured that Lindy would act that way. He just wanted to be the one to tell her. It sucked feeling out of place in his own group of friends, but it really sucked when they knew things before he told them and just decided not to fill him in on it. Maybe this was why his father once warned him of hanging out with so many girls. He was tired of being thought of in a best friend sort of way. He wanted to be respected. He wanted to be on the inside again. He wanted to talk to his freaking best friend without fighting. But that probably wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
It was a snicker's day. And Jackson, or Parker, or Myra, or heck even Psalm had eaten the last of them at the house, so he had to get out of the house to get one. He wasn't opposed to leaving, because he needed some space, some time to cool down. He didn't want to have to explain what was wrong to Jackson. Because Jackson frowned upon the whole him being devoted to Bunny thing, so he figured that by extension, Jackson wouldn't understand that he wanted Lindy to hear it first from him or at least acknowledge that she knew prior to him finding out over a week later that she had known all along. Blake hated being out of the loop in his group of friends, which meant he was on his way to a snicker's binge which was not only bad enough for his glucose levels, but in general. Kid was lactose intolerant. One candy bar gave him hives and mild gas. Seven, like the amount he was holding, would probably make him stay up all night in pain. Jackson would kill him later for it, but it would be so worth it. The sugar rush alone would be worth it.
He started to head to the counter when he noticed a person out of the corner of his eye. His feet froze. You have got to be kidding me! He let out a sigh and tried his best to keep walking, to act like he hadn't noticed Luke at all. But it was no use. Luke probably spotted him long ago. He should have gotten 12 snicker's bars. He might have been hospitalized, but freaking a! It would have been worth it. This day just sucked.
