After the near kiss, it had been strange between them until they'd both not forgotten, but put it out of mind. He'd been confusedly trying to figure out why she had been distant afterwards when he'd gotten temporarily together with a pretty redheaded cheerleader, one who'd just suddenly come up and kissed him in the hallway at school.
He and the oddly named Season, had dated from two weeks or so after the aborted kiss until the end of summer when they'd gone to different schools. There hadn't been much upset over their separation, though, and both had gone on their way without anything but friendliness.
Sloane's reaction to him helping steady her was strange, and Will was taken off guard to realize she was actually aroused. How he knew was a little weird to think, but enhanced smell extended to more than just being able to catch the scent of her favorite bodywash.
Once inside the bowling alley, shoes were procured (along with a pair of women's socks for Sloane's heeled feet), and the two of them were assigned to lane 12. Will smiled, as the reached their spot and he shrugged off his jacket to put it over the back of one of the seats. "Okay, how big do you want it?" He was already looking at the selection of bowling balls, not paying attention to any other connotations of his words.
