"Calm down, geez," Connie sighed. He hadn't been mocking-- or he hadn't been trying to, anyway, he certainly didn't find anything funny about the situation. This was what they were here to talk about, or so he thought: Colin's problem with his own species. "You don't have anything to do that can't be put off a few more minutes. This is doctor's orders, remember? Come on."
Running a hand over his messy hair, Connie tried again. "Think of it this way-- you liked Wally before you found out he liked your sister. Right? Then all of a sudden because he likes your sister he's an evil bloodsucking vampire again, not the person you like? At least admit that you don't like him because he likes your sister, not because he's an evil bloodsucking vampire, or else you're not being fair to anybody."
