"Aw." Connie made a face, stuffing his hands in his pockets and just... walking. "Poor guy. His must hit earlier than mine. I mean, I'm not exactly at my peak, right now-- I'm not all cheerful and whatever, really-- but the energy hasn't run out yet. That'll probably take another couple days." Connie wasn't looking forward to it. He never did.
He gazed ahead of them as they walked. "I'm a little worse than most of us-- my highs are annoying, or so I've been told--" He flashed Colin a wry grin, entirely sure he was one of the ones who thought he was annoying. "--and my lows are about as annoying, only to me, not other people. I tend not to get out of bed. I hate that time. But it's not here yet."
