"Oh yes. My first one started off as my 18th birthday present to myself, just because I knew my parents would flip over it." He turned his arm over, showing her the dragon on his forearm. "The other ones just fell into place from there. I try not to go overboard, but it's hard when you a good idea for something. Just have to remember that I have a limited amount of canvas, so to speak."
Quentin laughed at that, liking her already. So, five years. Her art was pretty good for how long she'd been working at it. "That's me, always trying to present the most honest version of whatever I want you to hear." It wasn't that Quentin was incapable of being honest, more like he was unlikely to tell you anything that really, truly mattered. "I know the sketches I brought are from an artist's perspective, maybe not the best for a tattoo. I'm curious to see if there's anything there we can work with."
