He chuckled at Kiley’s informational text about how her brother had avoided the coach and his requests. Morgan just resisted. But he was good at that. Stubborn to the point that it could easily be considered a fault. Not that Morgan tried to change it. Why would he? It worked for him. Seemingly, at least. In some ways.
I think he is. Patrick, one of the twins, told me that the coach was sniffing around him as soon as he started school as a freshman. I think he was kind of disappointed that they haven’t yet reached my height. I’m a good deal taller than Oliver, though. Maybe I’m just a fluke.
It would explain a lot. Sometimes, he’d swear that Leanne would have slept around if it was possible for her to do so. It wasn’t, so there went that theory.
The second text made him laugh a little disappointedly. “Try telling that to my dad…” he muttered. It wasn’t the type of thing that he wanted to tell Kiley. She didn’t need to get dragged into his personal problems. She had to deal with a very big issue of her own.
