It was kind of doubtful that Connor would ever think Scarlet Oak was remotely like Disneyland, but then he'd lived here his entire life, to him it was just home. That didn't mean he didn't appreciate it and think it wasn't a damn fine place to live, even if he didn't live in the greatest area of town, Scarlet Oak was still far from a city slum.
He and his friends had already been there awhile before he caught the sight of a flash of fire red hair as she passed by their table in the general direction of the bar. Though his mind had been a bit preoccupied since his encounter with Lua a couple days earlier, Connor's attention was quickly fixed on the beautiful stranger. He tossed back the last gulp of beer in the bottle and decided it was a good time to head to the bar for another round.
The fact that he opted to go 'round to the side of the bar in the same direction the ginger haired beauty had just a moment before was pure random happenstance. Yep, random happenstance, just like the fact that he just so happened to take up a spot beside her, pure chance.
"Another round for the table over there," he gestured to the bartender. "I'll take another as well, and whatever the lovely lady is having is on me." He continued, giving her one of his winning smiles before looking back to the bartender again. "Those lunk heads will pay for their own."
