I've been roaming around, I was looking down at all I see
Who: Lia and Oscar
Where: the grocery store
When: Late morning
She had been woken up by a very unhappy Cat that morning, mewling for food. Not very pleasant to have claws in one's back when trying to sleep and enjoy what she had left of it. When Lia got up, wondering what the issue was, she saw the food dispenser was practically empty. So, like a good mommy, she refilled it only to discover that was the end of the cat food. "Guess I'm going to the grocery store, huh, angel?" Cat mrowed and wound her way through Lia's legs. That was definitely a yes.
It took her about ten minutes to get a list together and then Lia needed to make herself human, only to discover there was no coffee. That would definitely not do at all. Quick shower and a change into a denim skirt, knee-high boots and a band tee shirt from one of her favorite acoustic artists from New York, she grabbed her purse and made her way to the grocery store by way of Starbucks. She needed to be human after all, which was a joke, considering what she was.
She headed to the end of the store and wandered, adding things to her cart here and there. It was always bad to shop on an empty stomach, but she was trying to be good. There were only a few impulse items in her cart, but she knew she was only half way through the store. Lia paused, looking at the pasta, knowing having some wasn't a bad idea for those nights when she was lazy and it was on sale. "Excuse me," she said as she reached passed the guy in front of her to grab a box of penne.
