Cara smiled slightly against his chest. "Colin, she has a kid, right? Kids pretty much kill the whole having a life thing." Or so she'd been told. They certainly didn't help.
Looking up at him, she said, "I'll do anything I can to help, Colin. And if that includes babysitting, then I'll do it." For him, not for her, and definitely not because she liked babies. But she didn't mind them, and they were definitely cute.
