"You don't have to not eat, Cara," he protested. "I'm going back downstairs anyway. I'm not very good company tonight. Sorry."
Colin shrugged. "Went for a walk," he said vaguely. "I'm sorry, I just don't feel like talking."
He pushed off the fridge and headed for the door to the basement. He hated doing this to her, but he really didn't want to bother her with his problems. Especially one that wasn't going to be solved any time soon.
