Reggie just didn't know. He didn't know what he was supposed to be doing or why. Yes, there were the girls, but Sarah had said they knew how to take care of themselves and... he just didn't know. Only a few days ago he'd been happier than he'd ever been and now it was all gone, just like it'd never been there. Keelin had started to etch her name in over the scars that Morgan had left, Reggie had let her, and then she had gone. First she had stayed away - and he tried to understand that, he did, but it was easier for him than her - and then she had gone back to Australia. Try as he might the earth elemental, who was usually pretty good at this sort of thing, could not remember the reason why she had gone. Had she told him? Had there been a note? Had Sarah or Bess been the one to tell him? Reggie did not know and if anyone asked he would have had to tell them that.
He was just sitting there, staring at his favorite bonsai tree, when the door opened and before he could even say that whatever it was he would deal with it tomorrow - like every other problem it was 'tomorrow' - his bed bounced with the weight of... Crystal. Of course it was Crystal. Crystal had no idea of how to stay out of his business and it looked like now she had a partner-in-crime. "I don't have a straight blade, Crys," Reggie muttered, scrubbing at his face. Yeah, she was right, he so needed a shave. "And I'll shave when I have a reason to shave. If I look like a bear then maybe everyone will leave me alone." He narrowed his eyes first at his sister and then at Desi. "Don't you know how to leave a man to sulk in peace? I have a good reason! Keelin's just... gone... I sleep with women, they leave." He jabbed at his pillow. "Hi Desi, how did she convince you to come along?"
