"Should I uninvite you?" she whispered teasingly, wiping her damp cheek and giving him a little smile.
"Lock the door for me when you leave, please." She doubted she really had to ask him. She knew how protective he'd been of her before he'd left. She assumed he'd only be more protective now.
Part of her really didn't want to go to sleep, figuring that she may never see him again, but her heavy eyelids were warring with her on that choice.
