Becky just stared at him for a long moment, eyes watching him as he pushed himself into the corner. He was freaking out or something and she was confused and the thud against the wall had Amy whimpering from her bedroom. Becky let him curl up against the corner and went to get Amy.
By the time that he started to come back down, she emerged slowly from the room, Amy curled against her chest as she peeked around the door at her brother. "Are you alright?" she asked him. Concerned and maybe a little afraid. She wanted to ask what that was. Wanted to argue with him that it didn't matter if he was dead or not. At least she could see him and talk to him and have some tiny bit of home here, but she didn't know what to do. She just looked at him expectantly, clutching Amy tight against her body.
