Becky nodded and got up from the couch, straightening out her night gown and leading him towards Amy's room. She was definitely a little princess and her room said as much, pink frills and lace practically dripped from the walls and furniture. The mobile had long since stopped singing the little lullaby and the only sound heard now in the room was the light breathing of the sleeping baby.
Slowly Becky pushed the door open and motioned for Colin to follow her inside and up to the crib. She'd gotten her blonde hair from her mother, but Amy looked just like Robbie. A constant reminder. Depressing as it was, it was hard to forget Robbie when he stared her in the face everyday.
She smiled a little at the sleeping child, lightly running her fingertips across the baby's cheek. "She's beautiful isn't she?"
