Now I need a break Who: Crystal, Desi and Sarah Where: Many Paths --> Crystal's house When: Around four p.m.
Crystal absolutely loved those days she left the vet clinic in charge of her more-than-able assistant so that she could go and get her witch on with her niece. Once she'd been leaving that very same clinic to go and do witchy things with her father when she was Sarah's age, and now it was sort of reversed. Almost like she had a daughter. And that, right there, that was when she'd normally smile sadly and feel a twitch in her ankle, but today there was nothing. Just that feeling of excitement that she got to go and share one of her other passions with someone who enjoyed it every bit as much. She didn't even have the slightest of ideas that they had a third member to their party, so when she walked into Many Paths she just nodded pleasantly to the other redhead in the shop -- the one that wasn't Sarah -- before beginning to peruse the shelves for things she might need. Or just want because her office and home didn't look witchy enough. They definitely looked like they belonged to an elemental thanks to all of the plants and animals, but she liked representing both sides of her supernatural talents.
"Do you have any fresh fern seed?" she asked the blonde behind the counter. Willow, she thought her name was, another one of her brother's many female friends. Crystal was in here so often that she might as well get a discount for all she bought, but it didn't bother her. She liked supporting local businesses and it wasn't like there was a Wal-mart for Witches. Yet. "Wait, nevermind, I have some at home! Sorry, it slipped my mind that I harvested mine. But don't worry, I'm sure I'll find something else that I need."
The sound of the chime going off at the door caught her attention and Crystal turned, a smile blossoming on her face at the sight of her niece. She was just about to catch her attention when she saw her heading straight for that other woman she'd seen when she came in. Crystal tilted her head a little, shocked that someone else had caught her niece's attention first. Had that ever happened before? Tucking her hands into her pockets, Crystal moved up the aisle and cleared her throat. "It's good to see you too, Sarah," she declared when the teenager turned, taking her hands out for the obligatory hug. Her eyes went back up to the older redhead, a smile playing back on her face. She couldn't ever keep one gone for long around her nieces. "Whose this that you went to first?"
