seeing things before they happen Who: Kristen and Silvia Where: Home When: After school
Kristen kept having these dreams. And the worst part about them? She was dreaming about some really normal stuff instead of anything interesting and they kept coming true. Like last night she'd dreamed about how Mikey was going to spill his water bottle all over his desk today and then he did. Or how they'd have just a normal, cereal breakfast and Silvia would whine a little bit about it before eating: also happened. It just kept happening too much for it not to be a thing and she needed to talk to someone about it. Missy and Nikita were out by sheer virtue of being 'mom' and Kristen not wanting to talk about it with them. Katia was out because she kept looking at her like she was a snack and so that left Annie or Silvia. Missy had already told her once that she didn't need to bother Annie as much as she did so really it meant Silvia.
Homework book in hand, so that she could use that as an excuse if she lost her nerve or one of the adults saw her and asked if she'd done it already, Kristen went looking for Silvia. Only she wasn't really looking because she already knew where the other girl would be. She'd seen that in her dream last night too.
And sure enough, Silvia was curled up on the window seat in the living room, soaking up the last rays of sun. "You are such a cat," Kristen teased as she dropped down on the little bit of space that was left. "How many times did you fall asleep in class today?" She didn't think that she'd have liked being a were very much. Too many animal traits seemed to carry through and other people just didn't get it. Then again she couldn't say that she was just a human if she was seeing things before they happened... "Hey, can people really see the future, you think?"
