Even someone like Jesse, whom some would call jaded, disenchanted and generally hard to impress had to admit August was being quite charming. While still not a dog person Jesse found it endearing that he called his pets his 'babies', and her delighted chuckle was proof of that. When he smiled - a very charming smile, little jaded Jesse had to admit - Jesse smiled back, eyes lingering on him before moving to his sister (who, while not cranking up the charm, also had pretty eyes and smile).
"Oh," Jesse chuckled again, lowering her head and balancing herself on the balls of her feet. One was being flirtatious, and the other had just said she was pretty. It warmed the heart, however little she liked to admit it. "No, I wasn't having much of a day as it was, just...leaning against a tree to some music." She explained, pointing to the tree behind her.
Focusing her attention on the dogs, she tilted her head. "The lab." She said simply, eyes flickering back to August as she smiled more broadly again, dimples digging firmly into her cheeks.
