Watching them approach, Jesse tugged her earbuds down for good, hanging them around her neck without bothering to pause the music. She smoothed over her skirt, and then pushed her hair back into place as much as she could. She smiled timidly at the both of them, adjusting her back against the tree again. "I feel very lucky." She confessed, nodding in greeting as he introduced himself and the girl. "Jesse; nice to meet ya."
Not particularly a dog person - but not not one either, truth be told - Jesse didn't resist the introduction. Though she wouldn't dare to crouch down, because if the ball came her way then she wouldn't manage to stay upright this time. Jesse chuckled silently at Farren's promise, and then attempted at memorizing every dog's name - funny names, to be sure - even though she was fairly certain it was hopeless. She raised an eyebrow at August upon the accusation that he spoiled the dogs, wondering if he cared to retort. Watching them follow the ball's every move did make her laugh more openly. "Ah, it's all right. This is good too." She told Farren, looking back at her.
