you're my head, you're my heart Who: Keelin and Reggie Where: Camelot Place When: Evening Warning: Probably NSFW
Reggie had not meant to stay out as late as he had, but Desi's problem had been fascinating. Not the one he had actually gone to fix, but the fox-one. Had any of his other friends texted or called to tell him that they had animals acting weirdly, then he would have started to think that there was some mass problem going on. At least his pets were just being a little needier than normal. Tiger and Pugsley were supposed to want love and affection. A fox? A fox was not a pet that Reggie would have ever wanted to own, but Desi's was kind of cute... no, he did not think that Keelin would really approve of him bringing another animal home to their two-bedroom apartment. Maybe they needed to get a bigger place? Reggie could picture them all having a nice, three or four-bedroom home somewhere else in Scarlet Oak where they could have a yard, a garden and maybe a few more animals. Reggie had always kind of wanted a squirrel...
Whistling quietly, Reggie let himself into the apartments and started for his. He had - naturally - forgotten that there was bright red lipstick on his lips. Desi had been more than willing to actually give it to him when he said he wanted to see what would happen if he walked in with that on, and so he did. That it could be taken in the wrong way had not even slipped his mind, it had never been there. Because why would he ever want to kiss someone else? He had Keelin waiting at home and he would have needed to be a complete moron to ruin that. The girls would have strung him up and killed him themselves before Keelin could even dream of getting her hands on him.
"Hello Tiger," Reggie said cheerfully, scooping the large orange cat up when he opened the door. Tiger had been waiting there like he knew he was coming and mewed consistently at Reggie. "You know, sometimes I swear it's like you're trying to talk to me." He scratched under the cat's chin before setting him on the counter. "Have you been fed yet?" That Tiger actually shook his head was not counted as unusual. Tiger always acted like that. "Alright, I'll get you some food." He had just finished emptying the wet food can into Tiger's dish when he heard something at the door. His grin returned when he saw Pugsley come bolting in, followed closely by Keelin. "Keely! The most amazing thing was happening at Desi's place - she had this fox there, okay, and she understood us. It was... what?" That was when he realized that Keelin had stopped where she was and was giving him a very strange look. Had she ever looked at him like that before? "Do I have something on my face?"
