Lauren felt her mouth twist into a frown, and it wasn't just because of the message she'd gotten back from Nysa. People don't break up with me. She might not remember what she'd done this time last week or exactly when she'd starting dating Nysa, but she just knew that people didn't break up with her. She broke up with them when she was done and if she hadn't broken up with Nysa then she clearly wasn't done with her. So who was she to break up with her?? Focus. She was frowning because she felt like she'd been made fun of. But instead of replying to it -- she was here on business and would rather get the client a second time than piss her off -- she just let it roll off her shoulders and walked in.
How can you not draw attention to her being Irish when every other word out of her mouth just screams it? Lauren pushed down her amusement and slid into the chair in front of the computer. This part was really just for show; touching the computer was the important part. It'd be more than happy to let her know what the problem was and then she'd be able to fix it. In reality it wouldn't take her more than twenty minutes, but she always made it look like she was taking longer so that she got paid more. That's not unethical. Lauren had found the problem already, but nothing had changed on the screen so she couldn't say it. That's just good business. "You shouldn't just unplug your computer when it's giving you problems," Lauren told the redhead. "Either shut it down or restart it right, or call someone who knows what to do. Switching it off at the powerpoint could cause you to have even more problems than you already did." She turned slightly, a bemused smile on her face that she couldn't help. "When was the last time you ran a virus check?"
