Naturally I'm worried if I do it alone Who: Tessa, her now-silent familiar Inaki (NPC), and OPEN Where: Outside Camelot Place to start When: Morning
The refrigerator was empty. All Tessa wanted for breakfast was bagels and donuts and all the carbs in all the world, and there wasn't a lick of food in her house. Oh, there was alcohol, but that wasn't breakfast, that was for a good night in and she didn't need that right now. At least, she didn't think she did. No, breakfast was where it was at. A quick look at her phone to check the weather and she made a face at the wind chill. It was too early in the season for it to feel that cold, at least to her, but after digging through her closet, she found a coat and hat that would work, and still look cute too. Satisfied, she grabbed her wallet and car keys and headed out her door.
And nearly tripped over the fox who was waiting right outside said door.
"Hey!" Tessa didn't believe in doing anything quietly and nothing was going to change that. "What the motherfuck?" Even with how loud she was being, and probably waking up her neighbors along with it, the fox didn't move. Didn't even seem fazed, as a matter of fact. It reminded her more of a dog or a cat than a wild animal, now that she was thinking about it. "Hey, come on! Get out of here! Don't you have to, like, go hang out in the woods or something?"
Still, the fox didn't move. It just tilted his head at her, as if trying to bore holes into her or something. Tessa was not impressed. "Hello!" she called out to the nearest person walking by. "Did you lose a fox, by chance? Because I've found one."
