Mikhail took another step back as the bastard threw up. Served him right. Hangovers and throwing up were the body's way of telling people they'd done something stupid and to knock it off. This one hadn't gotten the message yet.
And yeah, running away was equally stupid. He lunged, grabbing the drunk elemental by and swinging him back into the wall by it. He pinned him across the shoulders with one arm, the other still had the arm he'd grabbed him by pinned against the wall.
"You're pathetic," he told him. "One of those stupid bigots with a cheap piece could destroy you with his eyes shut." It was at that moment Mikhail decided this creature wasn't even worth his effort to kill.
Let him live, hopefully learn to control his powers before it got him killed by someone who cared less about the state of their soul. "You have no control of your gifts. You could kill someone with your ignorance. Do you really want to have to live with that? Trust me, once you've taken a life, it never leaves you. No matter who or what you destroy, it will haunt you forever."
