Mikhail didn't let him stay there for long. Grabbing him by the front of his clothing, he hauled the smaller man to his feet. "Stop lying!" he roared at him. "Why must you monsters always lie! Pretend you aren't what you are, try to fool innocent people and take advantage of them. Some of us aren't like you, dammit!"
Yes, this was no longer about what the man had done or hadn't, it was about all of the pent up self-loathing and frustration he'd accumulated over the last few days. The images in his mind of things he could never have, never be allowed because of his tainted demon blood.
This monster, this man who could command one of the sacred elements by a mere whim, was allowed such things. He didn't have to live outside of society, knowing he'd never be accepted, shouldn't be accepted. It wasn't about who was the monster here anymore.
It wasn't fucking fair. "You disgust me," he snarled. "You control water itself and yet what do you do? Drink yourself into a stupor and pick on the normal humans because you can. What a waste. A disgusting waste."
He knew he should let go. Maybe slam the fool into the wall once to satisfy his demon. But he didn't want to. He wanted to take it all out on this bastard.
