Well, clearly Desi had missed something power-related between her sisters. She side-eyed them both when Emilia actually spoke loud enough for her to hear, then sighed. You would think that by now we'd all be used to both your talents for knowing things no normal human being would want known about themselves." She said with only a hint of humor.
Upon Arwen's inevitable question, Desi decided to look down and away from her sister's gaze as she waited for the actual involved party to explain. This wasn't the kind of thing she was happy to talk over Emilia about, at all. This was serious, and terrible, and when she saw her sister touching the area that bastard had so thoroughly bruised Desi felt that sickening pang of rage all over again. Once Emilia had explained - briefly - Desi stepped in. "She came over after I tried to help but I didn't want to say anything she didn't want to say. I'm sorry." Once the cups started shaking Desi placed a calming hand over Emilia's arm. "It's okay, Ems. You're safe now." If it depended on her, she'd be even safer because Doran wouldn't have set eyes on her again, but that...was not the way things had gone.
"Still just thinking, huh? That's...good." You had to take your victories where you could, right? Leaning towards her sister, Desi squeezed her arm again. "And no one expects you to do it. In fact, I'm actually glad you realized that, I'm glad you're going forward with this. Whatever you need, Emilia, you know I'm here for you and the kids."
