Arwen had read in a book once that some things were universally true of nurses: they liked sensible footwear, they liked to wear their watches upside down, and they always wanted a cup of tea. As much as Arwen hated to live up to a stereotype, in her case at least, this was absolutely true. She had worked a night shift and slept late, and as she pulled her car in to the sandwich shop she couldn't help but feel she really did need a good cup of tea. This was possibly her mother's fault. In this case, she was willing to play the half-British card over the nurse card.
After parking the car she headed inside, taking little time to spot her sister and head over to the little table. "Hey, sis," she greeted, sliding into a chair and draping her handbag over a post. "Did I beat Desi here?"
