It was a Thursday, and as one of the last few days before she went back to school in full force, Jo had decided to live it in full. She had snagged Lotti and Kyle's company enough since they had come back (forcing them to spend the entire previous day with her came to mind), and decided to give others a chance - even if the notion of them out of her sight for long made her all sorts of nervous. In any case she thought she would let them get some sleep at least, although by late morning she was already up and dressed, had wolfed down two bagels with cream cheese and fixed herself a steaming cup of coffee. The weight of how much she needed to catch up on was beginning to make itself felt, so in order to pretend like she was doing something about it Jo thought to bring her notebook, a pen, some music and her cup of coffee out into the backyard. It was a lovely and crisp fall day, one of the last days in which she would be able to just sit outside and hang out without the aid of a wolf's furry coat.
If not for her wolf's senses she might not have even noticed someone else out here with her, but as soon as she set the notebook and coffee on the small table beside the garden bench Jo picked up a scent - Sam's, there was no hesitation in recognizing it anymore. Looking around she saw nothing, and then Jo thought to leave the 'human thing' behind and guide herself by scent rather than sight. Up. Up, up, up. Between tree bark and foliage, Jo picked it up in full force again, and it threw her. Taking a sip from her coffee, she mentally decided to postpone her 'serious business session' as she made her way to the old tree, one she had always knew to be there in the Summers' house's backyard ever since she remembered being a person. "Sam?" She called out, visibly amused, laughter carrying in her voice as she finally looked up to find him perched up impressively high on a branch cluster. "How's the weather up there?"
