In his opinion, most of Nastasiya's dislike was a fleeting thing. After all, if she honestly disliked him as much as she often claimed, she would not deem to stand him at all unless ordered from a higher up for some sort of society function. And he did love to wind her up, but knew well enough not to actually cross many lines and was able to sense when to back off and when it was safe to proceed.
Despite what some might say, the inside of Sebastian's head was a bit more complex than a love of mirrors and beautiful women. The Sapphira Dynasty would never have accepted him into their ranks if that had been the truth, for they did not suffer fools lightly.
As he sat down beside her, a single small hand motion brought a doll to sit on the floor beside the chaise, legs curled under her. Sebastian's right hand curled around the wrist that was lifted, but for the moment only played his fingers along the softness of the skin of the inside of her wrist. His face was turned towards Nastasiya, as he gave her a congratulatory nod. "I saw your recent performance on Law & Order. I have to admit, it was brilliant."
