New Faces Who: Erika & Quentin When: Mid-afternoon Where: Downtown
Erika glanced over her receipts a moment before she tucked them neatly into her back pocket, along with her wallet. Today had been deemed a wallet day, complete with home-made jean shorts (hacked off just above the knee) and an old but very comfortable t-shirt. Most of the logo had worn off in numerous spins in the wash machine, but the outline of the deflating earth was still mostly visible. With her dark hair hanging loosely around her head, she looked like she would be more at home at the beach than in the city.
Her stop at the post office had just been one of her errands this morning. There were still a few deliveries to be made, and Erika paused outside her van to review her list. Head bowed over the paper, she allowed herself to fall against the warm, metal side of the van. She was poised prettily beneath the logo bearing the name of her company: the Flower Petaler, as though styling herself for a photoshoot.
